AWAKENING

AWAKENING:
The Goddess:  Celebrated under many names, including the Virgin Mary and Iamanga, YEMAYA is known as the Goddess of the Ocean. A mother goddess, she embodies the vibrations of fertility, home, family and love.
 
She is fierce and nurturing, both bringing forth life and destroying it. The Seashell holds her voice and the Sea holds her unlimited powers.
 
Coral and Pearl hold her secrets of creation. Often depicted as a mermaid, her grace and beauty are as unquestionable as her magick.

Each time you meditate or dream with her, you bring her qualities into your life!

Exercise:  Close your eyes and take several deep breaths, feeling yourself floating in the ocean, relaxed and comfortable in her great arms.
 
Envision your dreams, your desires, and ask her to take them into her hands. Her sparkling, shimmering fingers gently wash away the hidden darkness, sending them to the depths of the ocean. What remains are the white petals in your hands, cleansed of your fears and shadows, holding instead, the blessings of the Goddess.
 
Thank her for her blessing on your dreams and ask her to illuminate the path ahead so you may see the signs along the way as you do your part.
